Camogli
Bound to the old traditions of seafaring people, Camogli is quaint village known for its winding, narrow
roads and high, colourful houses by the sea. The maritime museum and the traditional fish festival
which takes place each year on the second sunday in may bring to life the origins of this old fishing
harbour which has remained virtually unchanged over the centuries.
The area surrounding camogli which encompasses the side of the portofino promontory,
offers lovely spots with marvellous views such as Ruta di Camogli, paths and trails
through the mount of Portofino park, boat tours tothe bay of San Fruttuoso, whose
breathtaking beauty is highlighted by the splendid benedictine abbey.
